Description

A GHOST NAMED MEMORY

After moving out of a previous home, I would

go back and visit the memories I left behind.

Sitting in sunlight on my old bedroom floor,

great sadness and thoughts would invade me.

Overwhelming and depressing stuff.

I visited a ghost, named Memory

there was zero, spiritual communication

I cried a little, from the haunting

Memory reminded me, we’re done

I sat and listened, to Memory

My heart and soul, had come undone

I died a little, and in gazing

Memory blinded me, reflecting the sun

I bid goodbye, to Memory

Were my thoughts, all fiction?

I smiled a little, and when leaving

Memory advised me, have some FUN!
