Mitch Polzak is a professional musician from Oakland, CA currently residing in Port Costa, CA who plays guitar, 5 string banjo, mandolin in addition to being a vocalist, producer, composer, song writer, and studio musician. He started his career in 1999 founding the legendary rockabilly band, Mitch Polzak and the Royal Deuces and currently plays in several other bands as well, including Honky Tonk music with Joe Goldmark and the Seducers, Cajun music with Andrew Carriere and the Cajun All Stars, Bluegrass music with the Alhambra Valley band and does solo and duo performances on occasion. He has studied guitar with master guitarist Steve Sage.
Mitch Polzak has been entertaining audiences world wide with his highly original sound and show since then. Mitch has worked and or recorded with such artists as Deke Dickerson, Brian Setzer, Peter Rowan of Bill Monroe and the Bluegrass Boys, Don Maddox of The Maddox Brothers and Rose, Joe Clay, Lazy Lester, Gene Summers, Chris Sprague, Johnny Cuviello (Drummer for Bob Wills), and has published articles for Play Guitar magazine.
Mitch has entertained audiences multiple times at the legendary Viva Las Vegas Rock n Roll festival in Las Vegas, Hot August Nights in Reno for the Peppermill Casino, The Shake the Shack Festival in Seattle, and many other engagements stateside as well as appearances in Holland, Belgium, Germany, and the Czech Republic.
